Lauryn Watts is a Devon-based Illustrator and Ceramicist drawing inspiration from primary research and in-situ sketching of local nature combined with her own memories and emotions to capture the essence of locations in her work. She uses intuitive mark-making with a nature inspired colour palette and works with acrylics and water-based paint markers, as well as, a variety of other mediums as shown below.

Map created using acrylic, watercolour, water-based markers, a lino stamp and scrapbook-style lettering. The illustrated map includes features such as, the wildlife, the buildings and emulates the forest, river and the yellow flower meadow.
